TEAC NT-505

The NT-505 is a flagship dual monaural USB DAC with versatile network playback capabilities. It successfully incorporates the latest network technologies, along with TEAC’s decades of accumulated audio design experience, in an attractive package with an A4-sized footprint.

Like its predecessor (the NT-503) it employs a dual monaural circuit design to process audio signals with even greater purity, with the latest VERITA AK4497 DAC chip used on each of the  two channels. This improves the S/N (signal to noise) ratio by processing each channel individually in monaural mode, as well as delivering DSD512 (22.5MHz) native and 768kHz/32-bit PCM playback capabilities.
The analogue section, which is one of the keys to sound quality, includes four TEAC-HCLD buffer amp circuits that allow different drive modes, – fully-balanced drive for balanced output, and parallel drive mode for unbalanced output – to achieve enhanced acoustic expression.
On the network audio side, the NT-505 supports high-quality music subscription services, namely TIDAL and Qobuz, and is Roon Ready. There’s also a built-in MQA decoder, and you will enjoy unlimited music content on the Internet thanks to its high-quality digital and analogue processing technologies.
In addition to a wide range of digital and analogue inputs, a Bluetooth® receiver supporting LDAC™ and Qualcomm® aptX HD™ allows you to stream high-quality audio wirelessly from your smartphone to this flagship USB DAC.

The NT-505 is a compact and high-spec USB DAC and network player that supports the latest Hi-Res formats and online music subscription services.

TEAC AI-301

The AI-301DA offers two pairs of analog RCA inputs, an asynchronous USB input (supports up to 32/192 and up to DSD 5.6MHz), Coax S/PDIF (supports up to 24/192), Toslink (supports up to 24/96), a built-in Bluetooth antennae (memory capacity for up to a maximum of eight Bluetooth device pairings), and an IEC inlet for the included power cord. There’s a single RCA for subwoofer out and a pair of speaker binding posts.

TEAC AI-503

The AI-503 is an integrated amp and USB DAC that supports inputs up to 11.2MHz DSD and 384kHz/32-bit PCM. The DAC/preamp, which is the heart of the unit, follows the same design concept of our UD-503 and adopts a dual-mono circuit design that is fully balanced. Separate VERITA AK4490 D/A converters – made by Asahi Kasei Microdevices Corporation – are used for the left and right channels. In addition to a USB digital input (for Windows/Mac computers), optical/coaxial digital input and RCA analog input, we have also enabled high-resolution wireless audio listening by including a LDAC-compatible Bluetooth® receiver. Furthermore, with a combined 3.5mm optical digital/stereo mini jack on the front panel, the unit supports wired, as well as wireless, input from DAPs.

The power amplifier uses a Class-D power amplifier (made by ICEpower a/s) that guarantees high resolution during the playback of delicate signals as well as high linearity at high volumes. This unit can power both compact bookshelf speakers (for desktop applications) and large floorstanding speakers. The pre-amp section uses a fully-balanced TEAC-QVCS high-precision volume control circuit with a 4-circuit construction. By maintaining detail levels at all resolutions, the AI-503 creates a very realistic soundstage, along with a high signal-to-noise ratio and excellent sense of space. By connecting an external power amplifier to the fitted pre-out jacks, you can upgrade performance and create an even more capable audio system. The headphone amp section uses a discrete TEAC-HCLD circuit, with a push-pull arrangement, allowing it to drive even high-impedance headphones with ease. The two-stage High/Low gain switch enables optimal volume setting for everything from low-impedance in-ear monitors to high-impedance (600Ω) on-ear headphones. Furthermore, the inclusion of a 3.5mm headphone jack, one that supports a 4-pole separate ground connection, allows excellent channel separation, even when using balanced-type headphones or earphones.

TEAC CD-P650

The full-featured CD-P650 from TEAC combines a CD player, with USB and iPod playback for a variety of playback in one component. It plays standard CDs as well as MP3 discs, allowing hours of playback from a single disc. The front panel buttons navigate through subfolders to find your music. Music is converted through a high-quality Burr Brown 1791ADBR with 192kHz/24-bit resolution. Compact discs are clamped onto a center-mounted drive mechanism for minimal vibration, reducing jitter distortion for clearer sound.

The USB input on the CD-P650 can be plugged into USB media for MP3 playback, as well as your iPod or iPhone. The iPod connection accesses your music digitally, bypassing the analog circuits of your portable device for the best-sounding playback. A full-featured wireless remote control is provided. For playback of your iPod, USB media and CDs, there’s no better-sounding solution than the CD-P650.

TEAC AR-650MKII

The A-R650 amplifier provides up to 2 x 120W of output power and can be operated on impedances between 4Ω and 16Ω. So it is the perfect choice for on the shelf monitor speakers as well as voluminous floor speakers. Because the amplifier is equipped with two pairs of outputs even both of them can be operated at the same time. Further features are an adjustable microphone input and a headphone output. A system remote control unit which is able to control the stereo receiver T-R650 and any UR-tagged TEAC CD player is also included in the amplifier´s package.
