The Digitech® RP1000, your sound is king.
The control of your sound is imperative. The RP1000 gives you added control to express yourself the way you want, No longer will the lack of control stand in the way of your expression. The RP1000 integrates into your amp and with your stompboxes, not the other way around. Featuring exclusive Stompbox and Amp loops, the RP1000 doesn't get in the way of your tone and switches external stompboxes in and out of the signal path like large pro rigs. No longer will you have to do the pedal tap dance, just select your preset and your tone is engaged, just the way you like it. In conjunction with the external Amp Loop, the RP1000 also features an Amp/Cabinet bypass switch that allows you to turn off the RP1000's internal amplifiers and cabinets so your amp's tone stands alone. Popular on the RP500, the RP1000 also features the Pedalboard option that turns footswitches 6 through 10 into stompbox style effect on/off controls. When the Amp/Cabinet Bypass is used in conjunction with the Pedalboard mode, the RP1000 turns into 100 different pedalboards. You get instant access to both preset changes and stompbox on/off control, truly the best of both worlds. The RP1000's built-in Phrase Looper lets you create on the fly performance loops for practicing, composing, and performing. With 20 seconds of record time and controls for Stop, Play and Overdub, you can layer different guitar parts and tones seamlessly into cool song ideas or one-man jams. The RP1000 is built like a tank from a cast metal chassis to the 14 heavy-duty switches. A large 10 character LED display makes for easy stage use topped by a built-in expression pedal to control wahs, volume, WhammyTM and other parameters.
No matter how you get your tone, the RP1000 works with your gear and gives you the control you need when playing live. Arriving summer 2009.

HardWire™ True Bypass
Serious musicians are highly selective in their guitar and amp choices. After all, it's the foundation of their tone. Adding effects to their signal chain is done with great care and consideration. And when they turn off an effects pedal, they need to know it's not creating undesirable noise or coloring the unique character of their tone. In a true bypass pedal, the signal passes straight through the box when the effect is bypassed (Figure 1). When it's on, it's on. When it's off, it's off. All HardWire™ pedals feature true bypass.
HardWire™ High Voltage Operation
With the high-output pickups found on some electric guitars, it's not unusual to hear clipping when playing through an effects pedal.
This occurs when the voltage range produced by a guitar's pickup is greater than the operating voltage of the effects pedal - normally limited to the voltage supplied by the effect's battery or power supply.
HardWire™ pedals incorporate special circuitry that increases the operating voltage "headroom" above that of the typical pedal. As such, HardWire™ pedals benefit a wider range of guitars and are also at home in an amplifier's effects loop.
HardWire™ Constant Voltage Output
Guitarists know that battery-powered effects typically perform their best with a fresh battery. As the voltage of the battery decreases, effects can become gritty and distorted. With HardWire™ pedals, the same circuitry that boosts the voltage also keeps it constant throughout the life of the battery. From sound check to the final bow, HardWire™ pedals perform flawlessly.
Anti-Skid Pad & Pedalboard Pad
Each HardWire™ pedal is equipped with a rugged, removable rubber anti-skid pad to ensure your pedal remains where you put it. Each pedal is also furnished with a Velcro-like pad to secure your pedal to a pedalboard.
Stomplock™
This unique new device fits snugly over HardWire™ knobs to protect your finely-tuned settings from the drops, bumps and kicks that inevitably take place when you and your pedal perform.
