Direct Imports Catch Up with Scott Williams of Scott Sound and find out what's happening in the Pro Sound Hire Business

Direct Imports- So Scott what's the latest with you?

Scott- Well with the arrival of our new db line array system, we are now able to offer a full range of services in the Pro Sound market, whether it's a band wanting a pa for a show at a club, to a New years eve outdoor event with 20,000 people in attendance, dB products allow me to sound great and also offer competitive pricing to our clients.

Direct Imports- So what db products do you have currently

Scott- Along side our 30 piece line array system, we run multiple systems of 82.15 3 way boxes along side the 61.18 subwoofers, we have about 16 each of those, we also run the stage series of on stage monitors in 12 and 15 inch models, and of course we have the ever popular opera series boxes for general hire, with all these been active it offers a quick and powerful solution for us.

Direct Imports- Wow that's a lot of gear, so what's kept you busy through winter?

Scott- We have had some quick tours throughout New Zealand, from Rod Stewart tribute show to large school productions and of course a lot of corporate work we have been flat out which is great, but of course it all starts getting crazy from here on in, as the silly season approaches, we will be back at Whangamata for the week long new years festivities' which is huge and loads of fun, of course!
